Details: Finding it curious that the "Jar of Yeast Culture" requires the same in order to make the spirits. And the recipe which requires jars and sacks of flour only yields 1 additional jar of yeast?

@WeirDave, that is correct. a jar of yeast is a collection of living organisms. you give it food (flour) and it makes more of itself. you start with enough yeast to fit in one jar, and you end with enough to fill the original jar it was in and the one empty you added.

 

Not following the logic but if you are sold then so be it

I am totally onboard with that but it should be called like "Vial of yeast" in the vendor store then you make "Jar of yeast" and the costs should be more reflective. Otherwise what's the point of making when it's cheaper to purchase?
