Does anyone use a counsel controller to play SoTA? like Xbox, Shield or Microsoft controllers for PC games? or is everyone just mashing the keyboard and rockin the mouse?

I've wondered if there was a way as well.. but I can't think of how to activate glyphs easily without the many buttons my mouse and keyboard have! A controller just would not work in any decent way, I am sure.

It might be possible to map some of the controls, but how would you do chat?

I used a Steam one for a while before I lost it in a fire, the only problem is they Glyphs, since there are 10 and mouse clicking them doesn't work and not enough keys for hot keys so moving around crafting and such are fine but combat does not work to wwell

Thanks for the info guys, I didn't think there would be enough button options on a game pad. You guys saved me a little money and frustration.

I use a Steam Controller or Logitech G602 mouse.
The Steam Controller works well but has to be custom set to your preferences.
I modified a script I found on another site.
There are several Steam Controller scripts floating around that can give you a good start.
