what i see on the other side of the chasm, though is a chunk that looks like it's overlapping with itself: i see the backs of a few bricks and the floor is zfighting. if i go in i can't get back out.

 

i went in and let myself get trapped, liz picked up that chunk, i see no difference. i'm trapped in a room with four walls, but she can't see my nameplate anymore

 

found a hole! but you'll note the section i'm is connected to two other pieces, but there's solid walls between me and them.
