So, I was looking through my chat logs trying to find some information, when I noticed this.

From what I have observed, and from what I have been told, the Rend ability is not supposed to work on undead. Is there something special about the boars rend, or is this a bug?

 

@KenoZuki, good question! a dev will have to check, but i suspect that while skeletons are immune to the rend dot, they're not immune to the initial attack which does have a little damage attached. mine at gm has an initial damage of 0-17.

 

@Alley Oop, From what iv'e seen using my rend, I do 0 damage even on the initial hit on undead. So, unless Boars are truly mighty beasts, they should also be doing 0 damage on the initial hit.
