[Known]Casting Ring of Fire - Crashes game to desktop

    Title: Game Crash on casting Ring of Fire spell.
    Reproduction Rate: 100% (Every time)
    Blocker? YES!
    Details: When I cast Ring of Fire my game crashes to desktop. The other fire spells work fine.
    Steps to Reproduce: Cast Ring of Fire.
    User Specs:
    OS: Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8) System RAM: 16269
    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 GPU RAM: 4058
    SotA.EarlyAccess.QA.Win.64.512.Date.06.22.17
    Area: POT_mountain_metropolis_01_template/Serpent's Watch
    Area Display Name: Serpent's Watch
    Loc: (-208.3, 26.0, 293.1)

    Where and on what are you casting the spell on in that scene?

    I am having difficulty reproducing this issue internally. May need secret sauce to understand exactly what you're doing to cause this to occur.

    It seems to only be this spell. I am casting it in Serpent's watch in multiple locations.

    Oho. Yes indeedy. Immediate repro on YOUR character. Now I want to know what's different with your character that's causing it. Can you think of anything special with your equipment or setup? Special stats that might impact that spell? Or gear that the average player may not have on them?

    I have the fire wand artifact.. but other than that nothing I can think of.

    With your permission, going to run some tests by systematically stripping your character down and finding out what piece of gear is causing it to crash

    No worries. I normally run on beautiful settings but I changed it recently to fastest on QA to see if that made my scene loading quicker. Not sure if I put it back to beautiful

    Figured it out. Don't play on Beautiful. The Ring of Fire is too beautiful, and it will make you crash. Suggest Good or lower as a safe bet. Writing up now.

    If you're interested, I'd be interested to know if other spells will crash the client when played on Beautiful. ;)
