[Known]Incorrect seige message placing

I was in my basement.
When I clicked to leave I got the message

The town is under seige. You must fight your way
through the seige lines. Do you want to proceed?

I can't see how there is a seige between my basement and my back room (where the hatch is)

The message is great. Just not correct in this context

 

Is it just a message, or does it also send you to the siege?

 

In my case, it lead me to the siege itself. (Came here to say this)

 

Interesting my town (Jade valley) wasn't actually under siege. I tried to enter the basement again, and exit, and it didn't repeat. I exited the town without the siege, and it wasn't there before.

 

It took me to the town side of the siege and when I zoned back to the town I was in the house by the basement hatch.
