Title: Lord Marshal Benefactor Home - Front Door not closing
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? Partial

    Details:
    - This bug is pretty old (since i started playing in R32), but i realize now that maybe no one reported it yet, so...
    - At Lord Marshal Benefactor Home, the front door becomes non-interactive after opening, meaning you cannot close it. Given the proper time, the door will certainly shut itself up, but this is still a bug.

The other door and the upper hatch are fine.

    User Specs:

    OS: Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8) System RAM: 16320
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 GPU RAM: 2017

We spent near 10 minutes opening and closing this door on multiple lots. Not seeing the issue reported.

    Hmm, @Attenwood

Could you try it in my lot then?
It is marked on the first post.

I NEVER could close this door since i started playing. If you still cannot find it, i'll make a video showing the behavior.

    TY.

@Sir Leonard Check to see if something is blocking the door, like a pet.

Well, i think there may only be a carpet in the way, but i'll check it later then. Should it block it from closing? Because it do not block from opening...
Don't have access to game right now, so cannot confirm.

Seems to be working fine for me. :(

Out of curiosity, how bad is your FPS? Is it possible the performance is blocking recognition of interactive double clicks? Does "E" work fine?

    Never tested E...

And, yeah, my FPS in Wharfs is usually 14,5 per second to 20 (max).
My home is kinda "fully" decorated.

Anyway, will make a video later then.

I was really confident this was a bug with the door, because the other, as i said... works just fine. :(

I used to have problems closing the front door to my Viking Row. It was an intermittent issue. I filed it and only a few weeks later realized that my cat, which I have set to follow, was in the way. I have a crafting table right inside the door, so when I'd walk in and stand in front of the table (often) , the cat would sit down in the doorway.

I do now have a carpet in front of my door, but I haven't noticed any problems. It's not the same type of house. Perhaps the LMB door sits lower than in the Viking Row.

    @Attenwood

As promised, here is the video. Notice that you get the same "blockers" in both door (the rug), but the back door is still functional.
As i said, i never ever could close this door since R32.

Hope this helps on debugging or at least give you a clue of what the problem may be.

As a test, you might want to clear out the decorations near it on the ground and on the wall. It's possible that a collider for one of those is bigger than it should be.

    Ok, i finally found the issue;

My Baron Servant seemed to be "blocking" the way and somehow making the door non-interactive, although you can see it on the video that he is positioned far away from the door and from the OUTSIDE. Somehow, i removed him and placed again on (almost) the same spot and now the door seems functional...

Then i placed him again a few inches closer and the door stopped functioning again.

    Here is NOT functional

Here it is functional (almost a inch further only - check by the ribbon)

I guess now you will have proper data to "fix" this glitch heh.

PS: So i never could open this door for months because every pet i was placing were too close to the door even if from the outside and i seemed to place them on the "right" spot to trigger the bug every time - yeah it was not only the baron pet... also the knight, lord, etc. Weird. :p

    Thanks :)
