    Details are always needed Kliirkast, you know that!
    I can't really tell by just what was submitted here but I think this is related to desync issues. Video helps. The degree to what you are seeing it is something I cannot pick up on based on what I've read here...
    I'm not really seeing stuttering in combat but I have picked up on slight desync issues that we are aware of (known issue).

    I'm not sure how you are not understanding or seeing this. It's a persistent problem that everyone I've talked to has. For the record, I was playing from my office in a commercial data-center. Seriously, if you guys are having desync issues to ME, there's no hope for anyone not right beside the server.

    It's incessant. 100% of the time you are in combat, the entire game stutters every few seconds. It's bad enough it's preventing clicks from being registered. Neither of us have slouches of machines.

    Are people referring to micro stutters? Where the game freezes for a second and your sound skips and repeats seemingly randomly? Reminds me of the old days w/ Sound Blasters w/ creative driver issues. I have an 1151 mobo on board sound. Do those that have the stutter have the game on a SSD or a old style hard drive?

    I am on an SSD. I think it does often affect the sound. Again, though, I could deal with the sound, if it weren't affecting the ability to register clicks.

    @Lexie
    OS: Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz (8) System RAM: 8142
    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 GPU RAM: 4059

    That's for my system.
    OS is on SSD, SotA is on classic HDD.
    all drivers up-to-date.
    My audio is a Realtek, on main board.
    I have 4Mb/s bandwidth.
    Audio settings : all sliders at max except for music at 30%
    footsteps and attack ticks ON
    radio filter and "mute when not focused" OFF

    Video settings :
    Res = 1920 x 1080, 59Hz
    Full screen (!!!) not checked although it IS full screen (prolly because options in the launcher)
    use antialiasing NO
    Use camera effects YES
    Use camera bloom NO
    Depth of field YES
    PĂ©ripheral light YES
    Cull interior deco YES
    Aggressive deco load NO
    Cloth simulation YES

    Feelings... I think that I have more stuttering when the zone has more players in it.
    Also the more mobs, the more stuttering.
    The problem is not limited to combat. I've seen it (yesterday) on a carpentry station, near a river, when opening an iron gate... It's less obvious than in combat but noticeable nonetheless.

    What other infos could we send to you to help ?

    @Kliirkast
    Yes, there are known issues here for performance - I do not wear rose colored glasses as to what goes on in-game - but sometimes it is hard to tell if it is getting reported again or if there is a new behavior being observed. Let's say, if the degree or severity has changed. Sounds like this is what we are already aware of based on your response back. Thank you for the clarification.

    The info you guys provide, like here, always helps. But the original poster here seemed like they were posting something new (keyword being constant) and I have to investigate to determine what is known and what isn't. And whenever I try to get some extra clarification, people assume I think the game is running perfectly for everyone or that I'm just learning about performance issues for the first time. I assure you that is not the case :)

    Keep in mind, when we are submitting reports, we are doing our best to give you all the information we have. Anything we miss is not because we are trying to, it's because we don't know what else you guys need. If you need more infomation, I'm always happy to try and find more but I need to know what I'm looking for.

    In this case what I was seeing is something I've seen for a while, but I did not currently see a report for it. At least for me, it's happening a great deal of the time, it certainly feel like it happens in almost every battle I'm in. I think Chris had mentioned something about there being some inefficiencies with AoEs or DoTs, I do use a lot of fire, so that's a possible culprit.

    @Tiina Onir well said. I definitely appreciate all the info we can get. QA wouldn't be QA without player input, that's for sure.
    I'm curious if you notice a difference playing on a fastest setting with fire spells? While your machine can probably handle a lot more than that, that is a suggestion that was thrown out there for aoe spells for the time being.

    Just checked, dropping from "beautiful" to "fastest" has no effect.

    OTOH, I was running my undead deck, which exchanges some of the fire for banishes and it wasn't AS bad in "beautiful." I surmise this is because I didn't have Immolation, Ring of Fire, and/or burning mobs as much.

    I'm not quite sure fire spells effects are really the culprit here : my character is a bow user, no fire, no nothing but a douse or an ice shield from time to time, and I can assure you that the obsidian bears in deep ravenswood are heavily affected.

    I have run the game on a separate SSD a SSD w/ the os on it, a regular HDD and the best way which is directly embedded in the best ram visa vi a ramdrive. The stutter w/ audio skipping persists with the half a second opf clickability lag you describe. 270 mobo i7700 an a gforce 1080 w 64megs ddr4. Later on today I will remove audio drivers/devices from the PC and see if it persists.
