Details: I just received the notification and collected the payment for an item (Bear Steak) listed on the Owl's Head public vendor. While the item was listed (and I am da**ed sure of this) for 600, I received 540. I just posted a replacement on the vendor and sure enough, it's also charging the usual fixed fee + 10% up front. If this isn't a bug, a lot of the economy is going to slow down with an effective 20% tax.

@Attenwood Call off the dogs and close this one, I finally figured out what happened: This was a sale of an item that I had put on a guild vendor in Owl's Head awhile ago, and completely forgotten about. So it was not the public vendor, but rather pilot error. Apologies for the confusion.

One suggestion from this: Find some way to distinguish public & private vendor sales in the alert messages and their entries in the bank when they are picked up.
