[Known] Puzzle Box

    Firstly the much needed:
    Thank you so much for getting this in, amazing idea and was floored to see it working!!

    Meat and potatoes:
    The game adds your results to the left when you "Attempt" as it should, but the Runic chosen does not, judging by the amount of room left and previous interactions with such puzzles I assume it should.

    Once solved and you press "Open" you're presented with an error:
    "Server: CanGenerateMysteryBoxContentForItemInstance: archtype not found: Path=Decorations/port_Puzzle_Box"

    Most of those should be fixed in the coming patches. The puzzle box can also be used directly from your inventory and does not have to be placed on a lot!

    The puzzle box doesnt seem to confirm to the standard mastermind white/black rules which was white were items right in the right place, and black was right but the wrong place

    Every piece of information that I have found says that black/colored = correct symbol & correct position while white = correct symbol wrong location.

    Also if you suddenly see a strange man, with pins all over his head, while playing with the box, be very careful.... :p

    but I guess as long as one knows the rules.....

    I was really excited to see this finally added also. However, I was a bit disappointed when I solved it in 3 attempts and the result was "The puzzle box is empty."

    Are these supposed to be filled once per week and we have the whole week to solve/open them? Or, do we need to wait a week for it to fill up and then get to try it only on that day ?

    Oh, and will the prize vary based on how many attempts it takes to open it or will it just be a static (random) prize and we have endless chances to solve and/or reset to solve per week?

    The reward is still being worked on and not fully decided yet. But the idea is to be able to solve the puzzle at any time regardless of if anything is contained within. I recently added a chat message that indicates if the box feels empty or not when you open the UI so you know before solving if you will get anything out of it.

    Fair enough. Thanks for the response. I did notice the message that said it felt empty, but I thought that meant the puzzle wasn't completed yet so there was nothing in it yet.

    Letting us know it "feels empty" is a good way to inform us it's not ready/full. We just need to know that's how it's supposed to work. ;)

    The box [Puzzle Box] feels heavier than normal.

    This indicates there's something pleasure-able in the box?

    Perhaps the text could indicate something is heard rattling around inside the box to make it more clear?
