    once you get to the part of the quest to find the grand hall, the grand hall door is already opened and does not trigger that part of the quest to clear, and is blocking getting the chest for the book.

    The room itself will eventually reset so you can do the fight again.

    I checked in a change for the chest earlier today (but I'm not sure when it will be live) which should improve how players access the chest. Hopefully those few players who seemed stuck on the quest won't be stuck when the change goes live.

    On build 869 - I was able to loot the chest in the Grand Hall - but the chest only contained 46 gold, and the character has never looted the quest item.

    I went back and found the issue. There are special triggers in the scene that lost some of their "update this quest" data. I added the fix, but it won't be in until either the next update, or the one after that. So maybe give it a day before you go back in to continue this quest.

    Was able to loot the chest but all I got was gold. When you fix this on next update will I be able to loot the chest for the quest item or will I get the already looted message again since I have now looted it once already?

    You should get a few coins of gold regardless of your quest status, and if you're on a specific stage of the quest you should be offered the quest item, too.
