Details: Shield of Ice adds no Avoidance.
Steps to Reproduce: Cast Shield of Ice, look at Avoidance number on character screen.
User Specs:
OS: Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8) System RAM: 32704
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti GPU RAM: 6103

It may add fire resist, and it does add water attune/improve douse.

Also noted that it does NOT add avoidance any more. I need to go check if the glancing blow MW was fixed at the same time as shield ice being broken. This could possibly be an intentional change.

 

No more Damage Avoidance from Shield of Ice, I approve.. We should be aware of such changes though, also my main use for this skill was the avoidance.

 

The only thing that should happen is a switch between evasion and glancing blow, not a shield of ice nurf.

 

What was wrong with glancing blow?

 

The skill doesnt even work at all, this is a big problem

 

Same issue the description still says damage avoidance should be in there, no mention of a change in the patch notes

 

If ever the change was really meant to be, I hope the players get a chance to claim 100% back of their XP used for this same skill.

 

Yes it's broken, and Light Armor Evasion does still work, but however when mine says it lasts 7 seconds, it lasts 2. So pretty sure we all would like to see this fixed since a lot of us rely on this skill.

 

The Heavy armor special MW for GB does not increase the avoidance, only the duration (contrary to the stated tip) as well as the minor piece saying 10% in the selection menu when it only applies 5% now (just like inner str boost to gloves)

Based on descriptions :
Glancing Blow gives 10% avoidance at level 1, and 13.7% at level 37, so probably 20% at level 100. While Evasion gives 9% avoidance at level 100, and 4% at level 1.

If this is wrong, well some stuff need to be fixed somehow..

Nothing to do with that... The problem is the MW mod doesnt work properly.

Should be 10.1% at lvl 1 btw.

Zero-Intercept of 10 + 0.1% per lvl, so yes lvl 100 is 20 +15% from the 2 masterwork mods should result in 23, but you still only get the 20 (tooltip on hotbar is updated, but character sheet display/actual benefit not achieved).
