[Known] Sun Spec Bug not being applied to me

Im not sure whats going on with this, I am not getting someone elses sun spec % crit applied to me. the new mod that ODE put out makes this data clear to me. at one time I was sun spec and I dropped it. since then when someone with sun spec buffs me all I get is a little extra int. However when that same person buffs someone who does not have sun spec gets the int and the % crit. @Chris can you please look into this. I can link u meters if you think you need it.

 

@Sannio can you look at this we tested this for hours yesterday I suspect it has something to do with people who trained sun spec but have since turned it to untrain. It seams people who never trained sun spec gets the % crit from people with sun spec those that had trained it and then dropped it do not get the Benifit of a sun mage buff.

@Brass Knuckles, just to help troubleshoot, do you still have sun spec and it's just dropped to one, or have you actually right clicked and forgotten it?

 

I dropped the spec it’s at 1 and set to untrain.

When compared to other players of same gear and level using ODE tracker I concistantly run 15-17% lower crit. Then we cross tested against players who NEVER initially took sun spec and they ran that same percent higher. Also on my buff from a sun mage it never showed the crit bonus but when other players looked at my buff it showed the crit buff but the numbers never showed up in actual crit %

 

right, so you still have the skill, even though it's not supposed to be doing anything. can you try right clicking and forgetting it? ...it'll still be a bug, if it works, but at least you'll have a workaround while it's being fixed.

 

No once you have trained a skill u can not remove it, I’ll follow this up when I did turn the skill up again I did receive the buff correctly.

Prior to this new tracker there was no way to verify this info. Now it’s clear as day thanks @Tazar and his group for putting this out there (Califen actual author).

 

That doesn’t remove it from the tree or make it appear like you never initially trained it. I’m willing to try it though when I get home but I’m not gonna put money on it fixing the problem.

All that does it take it off the right side of ur current skills and I untrained it months ago.

You are brilliant, this solved my issue! Still a bug but this makes it where it’s easily avoidable.
