[Known]Telescopes don't work well

When using a telescope, the point of view will often include the telescope that you're looking through in the frame. The sight is foggy, and the range is less than if you're not using the telescope at all.

It appears that this is still the same 1st iteration that was used to place the item into the game to begin with, and we not only need polish, but also a working telescope that serves a purpose other than cool looking prop.

This isn't just feedback, it's a bug, it's not working as intended.

The telescope needs to begin it's line of sight about 2 feet away from where the avatar's head would be. It should be better than what the avatar can see without the telescope, and it should be clear. Ideally it would be able to make out the names of players twice as soon as they could make out the names of the player using the telescope.

 

I will second those telescope concerns and add one more: when using the telescope on homes with a deck it would be great if the telescope was tall enough to clear the rail. This is not the case with the Shogun house rail.

Here is a screenshot illustration of the telescope height difficulty. The eyepiece is about waist height - okay if you were seated, however you would still be looking at the wood of the rail.
