[Known] Tier 2 wood bonus not doubled, item still loses Tier 1 wood property

4. Details: Tier 2 wood bonus not doubled, item still loses Tier 1 wood property
5. Steps to Reproduce: Craft a wand with tier 2 wood.

For example :

Pine wand : +2,5% spell critical
Crimson pine : loses the +2,5% spell critical and only has +5% focus (which should be +10% focus now that tier 2 bonuses got doubled).

In short, given the logic of tier 2 upgrades, a crimson pine wand should have +2,5% spell critical and +10% focus.

 

This is not a bug, this is how it's been since persistence (see sotacraft.com). I assume that Portalarium chose certain Tier 2 materials to boost and will get to the others in R48 (fingers crossed). See my post in the R47 Feedback Forum.

Exactly, @Lao Tzu, I can't believe this is intended. 4x base the mats + tier 2 components + additionnal fuel to straight up downgrade an item is just absurd.

 

I have a hard time believing that 0.1 damage resistance being the only bonus you get for a hard maple long bowstave is intended.

 

@Lexie is this intended? It looks like the Tier2 woods were missed in the R47 Tier2 crafting fix.
