[Known] Torpor doesn't give Damage Avoidance while being rooted by Torpor

Well, now the spell doesn't give it while you're rooted since the description of that spell writes about being more difficult to being damage at the beginning of that spell. The duration of the Damage Avoidance bonus should be the same that the status of being Knocked Back by Torpor. After it, the Damage Avoidance dissapears.

I see it to recover health and provide strength, but I'm not seeing it give Damage Avoidance in the description? I am speaking of Torpor.

 

it has two stages:

1: rooted, with high avoid and high regen, fniished by a burst of healing
2: unrooted, extra str.

the avoid is to protect you while you're rooted.

Curious if you are running any other DA spells at the time Torpor roots you?

 

With, or without it, the DA is still not applied in the first stage mentioned by @Alley Oop
