Launcher cannot finish update

I was playing Dark Souls 3 while patching the QA client. At some point something caused DS3 to minimize and show the QA Launcher, but the window was solid pink and I had to use the taskmanager to close it. Upon reopening it tried to patch to 393, but encountered a missing file. At first it was a tmp file, but then I swear it changed the message without me pushing anything, and said the Shroud of the Avatar.exe file was missing. Click on retry, and now its trying to patch from version 0 -> 393. I'll update this after it's done trying to patch.

 

Update: It patched and I was able to launch. No idea what caused this wierdness.
