Lighting for night travel overlay

    When I first entered the overworld map in this release, it was just a mess of ugly black blotchy stuff. I thought it was a bug. Apparently it is the "new normal". Traveling on the overland map at night is an unpleasant experience, both practically and aesthetically.

    That is mostly how my nights have been as well and I just upgraded my whole desktop, including the video card, and it is still just as dark. Also as to the slow travel over the world map, it is driving me totally insane as I was quite happy with it prior to it being changed. I understand the whole immersion thing being a RPer myself but this I feel is a bit overdone on both counts.
