logbook quest in Desolis question.

Hi. Came across what at first appeared to be a repeatable quest, since I was able to do it more than once. 2 maybe 3 times. However on my last attempt, the npc won't open up the inv screen so that I can give him the 3 logbooks. Is this a bug, or do they limit how many times you can do this quest? Thanks.

quest I am referring to is in Desolis. Sends you into Epitaph. Logbooks are found in rooms with crafting tables. Gems to loot too, so made it a real cool quest imo. Hope it's repeatable.

 

this is not repeatable. there are three books and you can only turn in each one once.

 

I think it used to be repeatable, then at some point that changed. I recall turning in the books multiple times, then at some point I couldn't anymore.

 

This happened after a change about questing / journal.
Quests could be done again after a long time (Lum told about).

The other point is, you could do a quest reset by your own.

But those quests were never repeatable by design.

Also the sketchbook for a woman can be found down the stairs and so it makes 4 books

you do Harley Redwool a favor and find his daughter's Loreley Sketchbook.
You then get the Banner of Compassion

 

I turned in all 3 books at least twice. Maybe 3 times. Guess it was bugged in a good way for me.

This is one of my forever quests: I was able to turn in one book but can't turn in any others and the quest remains forever on my UI silently mocking me...
