Lost In Courage Quest Chain

So my journal is a total mess, and I'm having a heck of a time picking up the Courage quest chain.

Brigid has nothing to add to the conversation, though I have Aldorn's amulet in my inventory.

I went to Harvest but there was nobody at the docks to forward the quests.

Went ahead to see Grannus anyway, but the guards won't open the gate since I am not on official business.

Can anybody help?

 

Hi Jannelle, trying going back to Resolute and having further conversations with the lady in the building to the right there as you enter. It sounds like you didn't get the item she has to share. It is really easy to miss this because her dialog is structured in a way that it seems complete, but its not. You have to continue the text dialog just a little more to get the item. The guards should then open the gate for you at Grannus after this. I had the exact same experience you did, tried this, and it solved the issue.

I am having issues with this quest as well. I went through the whole scenario with Grannus. Did the tasks that i was sent to do completed them. At the end of that it hung up. Journal says i need to go back to Grannus and talk to him yet it hangs up there. No one is talking except same stuff over and over. And I have no idea where to go now. There is nothing in tasks or journal that says where to go from here. So now I am stuck on this quest. WTH. I know it wasnt finished when i did it but thought something would trigger and get me going again like it did with the Love quest. Almost not even wanting to attempt finishing the Truth quest. At least i know where to go on that one.

 

Did you get teleported from Korabar? That's what usually got me stuck.

 

Yes i got teleported back to Grannus and went through that whole scenario. Yada yada.....and then it said that was all for now.....so no wi have no idea what to do next

 

look in your chat log and see if you got 100k xp and see if you got a scepter of dread

 

Honestly dont have a clue what the date was i did that. It was at least a month ago. So have no clue where to look

 

Checked my chat log for that date and i never got the xp for the quest and i no longer have the sceptor. So no idea how to fix this now as no one there talks to me. And if i cant get the gift to go back to Korobar there is no way to complete this quest. From the chat log it seemed to freeze up with some of the actions

 

I assume you tried to talk to Mara and the other npcs there

 

Try saying "Demig" to King Korabar

 

Yes i talked to everyone there....pretty much ignored me
