Mac OS X QA Launcher 5.3.4p1 won't patch itself

    Mac OS X QA Launcher 5.3.4p1 starts and triggers a quick self-patch (I think) and then quits. Process always repeats. Never proceeds to new version.

    1. Reproduction Rate:100%
    2. Blocker?Yes, for QA testing
    3. Details:See above.
    4. Steps to Reproduce: Launch QA launcher (v5.3.4p1)
    5. User Specs: Mac OS X v10.11.6 (iMac - which can otherwise run the non-QA SotA just fine)
