Mac version crashed my mac :(

    downloaded new update
    seemed fine
    launched game, seemed fine (entered on overworld map)
    walked a few steps and pondered what new area i wanted to check out first
    game crashed -- Altair9000 something like that
    not only did the game crash, but i was unable to quit the process that was running in any way i could find
    finally had to resort to forcing turn-off of computer in order to kill it
    :(

    OS: Mac OS X 10.11.3
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570S CPU @ 2.90GHz (4) System RAM: 16384
    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M OpenGL Engine GPU RAM: 1024

    :( Have you been able to reproduce this issue since it first occurred? We're having difficulty replicating it internally. Mind, we experienced some technical difficulties studio-side. Please let us know if you continue to observe this problem occurring.

    See my bug report of other odd behavior after experiencing an in-game error, PELICAN in my case. After that, game hangs attempting to enter any scene. Guessing errors are leaving something corrupted?

    Glad to know it's not just me. Taking off my cloak helped a lot, I think, but I am having both of these crashes intermittently as well with OS X.

    @Attenwood I haven't tried again to even get into the game. Will try again tomorrow when my fortitude has built back up.

    ok tried again, went through all the same steps as yesterday, and no problems (except a bit of lag here and there still)
    only real difference was that this morning i had just started up my computer, and yesterday had been doing all kinds of stuff on it before i started up the game (including downloading r31) so I guess the problem was on my end.
    really sorry to have wasted you guys' time :(((

    game's looking pretty darn good also :)



    ....uhm.... ok spoke too soon.
    was wandering through Brittany Wharfs admiring stuff when got this on screen and game crashed (that is, I got the rainbow wheel and 'application not responding'):

    started it up again, seems to be ok so far.
    [PeachPit] crash (low performance)

    starting again
    been wandering around awhile now, aside from the lag seems to be ok

    This looks scary... We have no experiences this on our side... Is there any chance it could be your hardware?
