Come on by at 3 pm ish for a nice cool drink and some fresh cake. Maybe a game. Probably giggling and silliness galore. Sometimes music. PS I will make a public group so you can find the tea party. We sometimes move around but are usually in my back garden at my cottage in Jade Valley beside the Hall of Enquiry and Learning. To find the public groups in the game hit Alt f. PPS If I'm late begin without me, you can find the kettle by my fireplace.
The summer has flown by in the slowest possible manner. However, we have arrived past the middle of summer and the waning has to be addressed with a fresh cuppa and maybe a joke or game. Join me on Sunday August 30 At 3 PM NBT (New Britannia Time) In my back garden at the cottage.
Look for the special event that the Jade Dragons will be hosting for the tea party this month. It will be in the one time event thread. October 18 Terrifying Tea Tales at 3 pm NBT in Jade Gardens, Mistrendur Middle Island. Prepare yourself https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/forum/index.php?threads/terrifying-tea-tales.165564/
Right and then; so this Sunday, 22 November 2020 there will be no frightening burned down hamlet or odd questions about stories ghosts tell. We will be having tea in my back garden at the little cottage beside the Hall of Enquiry and Learning along the river to the south of the Happy Arrival Stone Bridge in Jade Valley at 3 pm. Usually at exactly approximately 3 pm, I sit in my favorite blue chair and imbibe various lovely substances (like hot cocoa and hot tea in the winter, or lovely iced lemonade and ice tea in the summer time and in between exactly whatever comes to mind) and making things up in my little book or play harp to entertain the ducks. That is, unless some Very Important People stop by to join me. In that case, I freshen up the tea pot, and procure cake (usually from a small bag but don't ask or you won't eat the cake which is actually quite tasty, and hardly ever has lint on it) and we sit around the table and share the gossips that we know of Novia, or jokes, or riddles or games, and sometimes there are prizes. Obviously homemade ones that I whittle away at when I have a spare moment (certainly nothing very grand) but offered with the best of intent none the less. You of course, are always welcome. I enjoy meeting people I don't actually know and knowing people I do meet; and actually like the actual people I have already met. Please rescue me from my own logic (it's not very sound) with a tale of your travels, or interesting things about your time here in Novia. We will ignore the Outlands with vigor. Come have tea and we can watch the ducks and the deer and the butterfly as we get to know each other.
It's time for Yuletide Tea. This season bring with you something you have made in game to give away to someone else at the tea party. We will be trading gifts with each other; noting that this is for fun, I ask only that it is an item that you have made yourself. You decide the value. I plan on spicing the tea with things like cinnamon and maybe some cloves...and the cookies will all have sprinkles, that's how special this tea is to me. Unless anyone has a home ready to accept many tea drinkers on the spur of the moment then the event will be: In my cottage, At my back garden beside the river South of the Stone Bridge of Happy Arrival in Jade Valley at 3 pm ish 20 December 2020 PS if caroling breaks out I will not stop it
It's TEA TIME 24 January 2021 Well isn't this the dead of winter? Looking for a lull? Something different? It is time to gather and gossip. Play a game or listen to the gramophone. Mostly we simply enjoy each other's company and discuss what's new in Novia. My back garden is all ready for tea at 3 pm on Sunday. See you there.
21 February 2021 It's my birthday weekend, and I invite you to join me in my back garden in Jade Valley at 3 pm 21 February 2021 There will be drinks and cakes and all the lovely things on platters that I can conjure If we feel sporty I will set up a game of Archball in one of the parks in Jade Valley, using gusting spells for a bit of fun If we don't then I will find another game that we can play without leaving the table where the sweets are offered Perhaps there will be an interesting surprise ... birthdays are like that aren't they? I live beside the Hall of Enquiry and Learning in a small cottage. Come around back.
