    I'll bet that fire resist very narrowly only reduces DOT duration and has nothing to do with scaling damage.

    Well, given how NPC-Mages tend to Spam their attacks anyways, that just makes it useless in a slightly less obvious way ;-)

    Resistances from gear and potions currently do not work at all.

    Its a bug the was just recently reported
