[MAP SPOILERS] Highvale Outskirts Map

Here is a map I made of Highvale Outskirts. It's pretty crude, and doesn't display the z axis at all. But it will help you get around. Don't look if you don't want spoilers!

That is awesome . Love it. Need that for Longfall Woods. I have the cooridnates for something but cant seem to locate it. I hate that there is no coordinate settings on the compass or sota map. Something needs to be done to help with this. Useless to have this info if it cant be used correctly. And doing the two step /loc isnt working. Trying to find the Moon stone and it is eluding me.

 

Ahh... forgot to watch this thread! You are both welcome. @Belladonna Rose did you ever find that "something"?

that's the hunter in the middle, same as the previous kobold frostgeist quest

Ok, this might be a dumb question, but does he need actual "special" animal hides because I have a ton and nothing I say seems to trigger him accepting my animal hides lol.

good, 'cause that part was put in after i did the area and i have no idea.

 

Well, I figured it out and there is a special animal hide you have to skin, but it didn't get me anything other than a little xp and gold

 

oh yes, that. i think it's meant to be a repeatable turn-in quest to get newbies some starting cash, like the wine bottles in blood river outskirts.

 

So who gives the courage armor quest?

I killed the frostgeist that he asked, but now he just goes back to the hide quest. I don't see anything leading to the next quest..?

 

Sounds like a bug. I did not get to complete that one in QA.

I would think the kobold would have something to turn in like the other two helmet quests then it would make sense.

 

I think Alley Oop completed the quest - maybe the entry did not update, but there is another step involved.

i actually just said plate helm of courage to him first thing in the conversation. either he had a keyword for it visible when i started the conversation or i just typed it out, and the latter seems unlikely since it's capitalized in the log and i never bother.i had completed the kobold quest previously and idn't have to do it again. the helm doesn't come from the kobold, there's another step.

 

Hmm.. I don't recall seeing the keyword. I'll check it out again later and take a closer look.

I get a fair amount of quest bugs since I tend to do things "out of order" in a zone.

 

Yeah I had the same problem with those two quests.

After I got the quest for the Kobald Frostgeist, it dropped a skull quest item.

I was able to turn that in and then asked about the helm, which gave me the entry to get the helm fixed.

I was also able to get the copper ore quest item and turn that in with the broken helm to get the Helm of Courage.
