It doesn't. It was converted into Masterwork: Strength. At 100 skill it adds 8 strength now.

Thanks. Was it OP or what was the reason to it being removed?

It was one of those confusing added stats that nobody really knew what the hell it did so it was changed. I think the strength bonus it gives now is actually more powerful than it used to be.

Is there any way to tell how much impact strength is having on a weapon choice? Say the difference between a dagger, longsword, and 2 handed sword? Presumably the strength bonus goes from little to major across those three... I'm just cuirious by how much.

You can actually see how much strength increases the damage of a skill by looking at the tooltip before and after.

the weapons themselves have a generalized stat that says "Strength damage:" or something.

Weapons that are least affected by strength say Low, then Average Then High then Very High

You can see it by mousing over the weapon

There is a masterwork on plate chest armor - 5 % on hit: + x weapon strength dmg for 30(?) sec. Edit: Or is it an enchantment? Can't remember even though I recently crafted it.

It seems to work the same way as the blunt skill weapon strength dmg. The way I interpret it is a fixed strength bonus (not percentage), which only counts as damage modifier (not the other benefits of strength like health and so on). Like +10 str for 30 sec when damage on melee hits are calculated.

I don't craft weapons yet so I can't comment on that.

the 5% on hit is a earth gem proc, gotta gem it then enchant and hope it comes up. The reason weapon str damage was changed was it didnt seem to work.
