Merchant in Soltown Doesn't Want My Business

Title: Merchant in Soltown won't take my business. I try to talk to him, but he just says hello and doesn't produce a list of goods to buy or sell. He's told me his name is Martin, but he never produces his sales screen.
Reproduction Rate: This happens every time I talk to him.
Blocker: No, I guess I'll travel to another town to buy and sell.
User Specs: Medium; (the game looks great, btw)

 

Getting the same issue here. I think it might be caused by doing the Fire quest?

 

Same issue here. I haven't done the fire quest, so I don't think that's the cause.

Also, when 'chatting' with Martin, and I say "shop" the chat window immediately closes (which I've reported in another post).

EDIT: None of the merchants in Soltown work. This issue isn't only with Martin.

 

UPDATE: I've managed to get Martin to present his buy/sell screen twice now, but there's no real rhyme or reason to it. Mostly, he just talks to me like a regular NPC, not a merchant. I completed the Fire quest, and that didn't clear up the problem. I still can't get him to open his shop to me when I really ant to buy something.

 

I know its weird. My friend last night could not get his transaction/shop window to open, but I could. He went to the tailor merchant and that worked fine. Strange indeed.

 

They do have sleep cycles now and time they are not open ????

If oyu hit them when they are off duty you get Nada :-(

 

Even when he is not sleeping and down in his shop, the transaction window won't pop for me.

 

I am having the same issue. Staying "shop" to him changes camera angle but shop list does not pop up.

Same issue with Christoph Schneider in Ardoris. When his speech dialog box comes up if you click on the word "store" the camera zooms in but the store does not come up.

 

Same issue, I did the Fire Quest, however he serves me very occasionally - but usually doesn't. If I put 'buy' into conversation, he says 'here is what I have to trade' then the screen zoom into the corner of the room and I have to press ESC.

He's the only guy that sells repair deeds, which is annoying!


Edit: It's at the stage now, since I know it worked once this morning, that I want to eviscerate Martin!
