Minecraft for Shroud of the Avatar -- (Dev) Replied

The Bards of Poets' Circle (guild) are assembling a team of devoted fans to create something special for Shroud of the Avatar in MINECRAFT.

Our goal is to create ideas for the Development team, and illustrate their current ideas in minecraft-form. It doesn't have to be 100% accurate to the SotA world (or even 50% accurate) but will have a great RPG vibe to it and be fun to explore and adventure in while we wait for Alpha and beyond.

At this time, I am only interested in trustworthy builders who have some prior artistic/creative skill. Experience with minecraft tools like WorldEdit and VoxelSniper are a plus, but can be taught; we'll be putting together a collection of minecraft design tutorials, to compliment Art Time with Stephen. If you enjoy participating in ART TIME, perhaps you'd enjoy building concepts in minecraft!

The plan is to have something fun ready for a more public SotA audience, and perhaps even a tour/adventure for Lord British and the Devs in a few months.

New additions to the build team will be brought in one at a time over the next few weeks to be talked to on a personal level. (We won't be accepting people all at once, so please be patient with us!

P.S. Lord_Viator thought I might mention that you'll likely have to have the PC/Mac/Linux (ie. JAVA) version rather than the xbox or pocket version of minecraft to participate.

 

Shroud of the Avatar and Minecraft? Two of my favorite things, whats not to love?!

We're having a blast with this project so far, and just last night built a slew of the smaller building concepts for the towns etc.
