Why are the names of mines plural? For instance Elysim Mines. Why not just Elysium Mine? Is there more than one?

I pretty sure you use the plural when more than one mineral type can be gathered from it. I was trying to find an example, but it's an English language thing.

Also I think when naming it, they use and s, describing the type without an s.

Elysium mines versus a salt mine.

"s" is for possession. Elysium possesses ores. /shrug heh

Well, when you enter a mine, it becomes a solo/group instance, so technically, yes, there are more than one of each mine since not everyone is in the same scene. ;)
