missing maps for towns?

Some towns, like Kingsport, I have not found by chance neither thru buying from vendors...
I wonder if each town crier could accept the talk "buy town map", would be immersive, coherent and cool, right?

I have 48 maps on my backpack, most I bought from some vendor somewhere I don't remember..

anyway, where I can find all maps? (at least all for towns...)

EDIT: btw, I want maps mostly for navigation, to show way points, interesting locations on the current scene. When a map is not available, the map window wont even allow us to see the way points what is really annoying , we could have a blank default map just to let us see the way points...

 

Booksellers sell the in game maps.

They don’t currently have a use for maps in the game currently.

 

They're useful deco, but you can get plenty of them for deco as loot. The devs should really remove them from the vendors so new players stop wasting their money.

However, I would love to see them renamed as "antique maps" and made into a component so we could craft framed versions to put on the wall.

 

You can sell all the maps you find to booksellers.

 

they're very useful to pot governors and stewards for planning purposes, as they have the flat areas of pot templates indicated on them.

this style of map was only made, for the most part, of the hidden vale, the perennial coast, and the pot templates. that's about the point in the development that a player's online mapping site really took over. port eventually bought it and brought it in-house. finishing the rest would be nice, but low priority vs finishing getting them all into the mapping system in the first place.
