Mist on overland map is sometimes too thick

    Sometimes the mist on the overland map is so thick that I can't see where I am going. This causes me to wander off the path and slows my progress.

    In general, I think the mist adds to atmosphere, but depending on the light (time of day?) it can be impenetrable.

    Hmm, the mist actually has mist-like effects on our movement and sight then....

    No, it has extreme fog effects. The kind of fog where you can't see a few feet in front of your face-

    I agree that it hinders travel, but I like that. Very atmospheric. Then again, I never was very practical.

    I wonder if it has to do graphic settings or specific camera angle.

    I was cruising around aerie and vertas areas. There were some fogs up in the air, but they were transparent on my screen.

    If the sun is just coming up or setting then the clouds/mist can be really bright and make it hard to see. Zooming in all the way helps a lot.

    There's fog of war? awesome!

    Totally needs something like that so we have a reason to explore. Should we all know about these strange lands before we encounter them?
