The pets range is beyond the range you can get exp from, are you close enough to the kill to get the exp?

 

yes very close,I have tried both in multiplayer and in private

 

OH there is a delay right now on exp, sometimes the exp is really delayed. I will go do some testing for this myself and see if I find the same thing you do, it very well could be.

I let my pet kill the mobs all itself, and it takes a bit to see the exp, like 30 seconds, but I did get exp. Try just waiting I dont know how long, might depend on connection.

 

I was noticing just a delay in general this release (irrespective of pet) between when the mobs died and the XP showed up in my pool. It did get there eventually, I don't think I actually missed out on anything. It seems to be the same sort of delay I'm getting trying to open doors/containers/vendors. Everything seems to just kinda be taking its time...>.<

GREAT SCOTT. Sometimes when I wake up I got dr emmit brown hair .

 

i just tested myself. took 30s for the xp to show up. but it did show up.

 

I tested with pet and it's fine, just takes a little while to show up.
