[11:12 AM] ChrisBCarr: is there a difference between "moon beams" and "dazeling ray"
[11:13 AM] Jack Knyfe: one is moon magic, one is sun magic
[11:13 AM] Jack Knyfe: both work similarly, but one works better than the other depending on what time of day it is
    [11:14 AM] ChrisBCarr: makes sense
[11:14 AM] Quenton: not sure I like the name "moon beams"
[11:14 AM] Quenton: they would've had to wrestle with that one I think
[11:14 AM] Quenton: "dazzling moonlight" might have been better
[11:15 AM] Quenton: and dazzling sunlight
[11:15 AM] Quenton: to the feedback forum !

Can we change the names of these spells? What do you think?

    tldr:
    • Change "Dazzling Ray" to "Dazzling Sunlight"
    • Change "Moon Beams" to "Dazzling Moonlight"
they sound better, work the same way, and it sounds consistent. Easier on players to remember/think about.

Edit: Sorry, just stumbled on a better one than Dazzling Moonlight, which is a no brainer: Dazzling Moonglow!

Interesting post. This gets my humble vote.

I've long wished that moonbeam was an offensive ray spell opposite the counterpart in the sun magic line. Then this mez skill could be renamed something else.

'Dazzling' is a great word to describe a mesmerizing skill.

It can also describe someone who bedazzles their light armor set. :D

I kinda like their unique names.. but it wouldn't be a huge difference to me to change their names.. or to leave em as is ;)

The Sun one can mesmerize 6 targets at once for a shorter duration, the moon one can only do 3 targets at once, but for a longer duration

They also use different targeting systems unless I'm mistaken. Considered posting earlier but it isn't really the focus of the thread.
