Most UI windows frequently lose their positions.

Title: After patching (I think), most UI windows lose their positions.
Reproduction Rate: Uncertain. After patching?
Blocker? No but it's a bit rough (sorry!).
Details: I've attached screenshots to demonstrate what I mean. At first I thought it was on quitting the game or logging in with a different character or a machine restart but I believe I've discounted all those through lots of logging in and out and restarting client and machine several times for testing. Looks like it might be related to patching.

Basically, most of the UI windows will default back to their default top right of the monitor location. It's a real pain because I end up managing the UI far more than I would like to and it feels a bit unpolished.

I've noticed it basically with:

• Skills
• Loot/Gathering Window
• Journal
• Looking for Group
  
• Combat Decks
  
• Glyphs
  
• Bank UI
• Vendors
• The Price of the Oracle
• Titles
• Blocked Players
• Emotes
• Lot Item Permissions
• Available Lots

I think the Crown Store does this too sometimes but it goes up to the top left instead (as with loot/gathering and placed containers).

These seem OK:

• Inventory
• Character Sheet
• Crafting Stations
• Scene Entrypoint Selection
• Puzzle Box
• Chat
• Map

Perhaps something is getting overridden in AppData? Or maybe over time it loses its last known co-ords?

Sort of related to this, it would be nice to have some better default window positions if that's possible... Sorry to be a pain!

Steps to Reproduce: Customise the UI window locations and then after a patch, they should all default back to the top right as per the images below.

Unlike OP my chat windows have this resetting behaviour as well.

I've got some chat/log windows disconnected from the main one and strewn about. (Universe/zone above loot/misc; combat log bottom right)
These too tend to get repositioned to their default position (bottom left) at times. And like OP, I'm not sure if these resets are related to patches either.

 

So as of the last patch today, I can confirm that the following window positions are resetting:

- Skills
- Journal
- Bank
- Gathering/Loot
- Map
- Containers within containers.
- Lot Item Permissions

 

OK, so just logged in and for whatever reason these ones have reset:

- Emotes
- Looking for Group
- Blocked Players

 

Today I have these ones reset:

- Crown Store
- Gathering/Loot window.
- Both trunks inside my village lot.

Is it a timer? I'm going to record these down on the days I spot them and basically test everything. Maybe I can reveal a pattern. It's the most frustrating bug!

 

So today it's:

- Crown Store
- Vendors
- Storage chest in village lot.
- Only some of the small bags in my outdoors chest.
- Choose Scene Entrance
- Crafting Stations

This has to do with how the game stores last known coordinates for those UI windows. Are they being written to a fragile cache somewhere that gets overridden frequently?

 

Today, the following UI windows have reset:

- Rewards
- Skills
- Glyphs
- Combat Decks
- Journal
- Emotes
- Social
- Item Permissions

I swear this thing is trolling me at this stage.
