Mouse look (holding right click) is too slow

I'm wondering if these issues you guys are having is related to PC performance and Mouse DPI. Both will affect this. I'm getting 40-50FPS(Max settings) and a 6400 DPI mouse. It appears at this time mouse movement in game is tied to the mouse and not any software outside of the game. This means we all see different mouse movement speeds based on our mouse, some it's too fast, others too slow. Right now I'd say the controls are perfect, i spin, move, and look very quickly.

So. Those of you experiencing issues for the sake of curiosity and SCIENCE. post your FPS (Frames per Second, you can see it using FRAPS, free download at fraps.com) and your mouse DPI, if you know the manufacturer and model you should be able to find specs on it online.

Obviously this is just for fun, as in the future we'll see adjustable controls, so it's a bit of a moot point.

Averaging 60+FPS. Mouse is a Logitech G600, default settings 1200dpi/500pps (pooling rate).

No issues anywhere but had some here, and only when using mouse look (pointer was moving normally).

Problem has been fixed as of patch 60.

 

Well during R1 i felt that the mouse look speed was fine. Beginning of R2, i have the same setup and the look speed is dramatically reduced. I don't think it has anything to do with my DPI or setup. But the patch fixed it so im happy.

 

I have 60FPS on max settings and a higher DPI mouse than you (8200), and I agree that it's clunky, lol.

 

maybe some video of what you guys are experiencing would help. I'd guess the only way to capture that though would be over the shoulder to see the button press to screen reaction and how long it takes, because I can move around as fast as any game I've ever played.

 

Doesn't matter now, it was patched and it is fixed.

 

Yes, I'm aware of auto run. I like to look around when I'm moving which at the moment stops the avatar moving so requires more keyboard presses, I'd like to move with a single click.

One side-effect of the right-mouse for mouse-look is that it makes it really hard to play on a laptop with a trackpad. I know, I know I should use a mouse and I usually do but sitting with a laptop in front of the TV (without a mouse) is a real chore the way it is currently set up.
