Details: I did the prayer card bit, turning a card into the monk at Northwood the other day. Northwood being the location of my working home. I received a pair of Leather Gauntlets of Love. I encountered another monk at the end of a corpion dynamic encounter today. I clicked "brambles" as it was not capitalized (another bug?) during the conversation. That set me on a course to deliver the prayer card to the monk in Brambles. I received Leather Gauntlets of Love from that monk, as well.
Steps to Reproduce: Perhaps turn in prayer cards to monks in different cities? Try Northwood first, then Brambles? Or maybe the Brambles monk doesn't have a check to see if you already have a pair of Gauntlets?

i got the same, in brit fields and then northwood.

 

Just received my 2nd set of leather gauntlets of love as well. First was from Northwood, 2nd pair from Etceter. This 2nd "Find Altruistic Monk" did not clear the quest from my journal either.
