My kingdom for a chat bubble speed control option

    I do love the chat bubbles, much more so than the chat box.

    However, as has been noted in the past posts, the chat bubbles disappear *far* too quickly for me to read properly, especially when the character has multiple lines of text as a response.

    And, it feels like they are actually *faster* in this release than R4, which is a little off-putting.

    Eventually I get behind, and then have to resort to the chat box to catch up, which is slightly irritating, as it makes those pretty chat bubbles useless in my opinion.

    Provide an option slider to adjust the speed they stay on screen, please.

    It would also be nice if when you click on an NPC to talk you were automatically entered into "type" mode. I start typing to talk to the NPC and a bunch of window boxes pop up because I did not hit "enter" first.

    The chat box will appear if you type a capital letter. I have gotten into the habit of using that approach to open it. :)

    Agreed. I see what they're *trying* to do by unifying NPC communication with communication with other live players -- but it's really a different mindset and needs a different mode.
