As it is, here are all the issues in SotA for me:
    • When in cursor mode, mouse sensitivity quickly goes out of control while using the right mouse button for mouse-look.
    • Crash on scene change if I'm wearing a cloak.
    • Get thrown out of bounds and then crash if I equip the coconuts anywhere but the world map (also if I enter a scene from the world map with the coconuts equipped).
    • Get thrown out of bounds and then crash if I die.
    • Get thrown out of bounds and then crash if I swim.
    • Flashing black squares on world map.
    • Broken guard model often completely fills my screen with random flashing polygons, making it impossible to see where I'm going.
    • Using certain active skills causes my avatar to get stuck.
    • Avatar walks in-palace when I'm not moving.
    • Camera blur is really ugly and I can't turn it off.
    • Antialiasing is no longer working, making it even uglier.
All of this combined makes the game very difficult and unpleasant to play.

[edit] I sometimes crash on scene change even when I don't have a cloak on.

Yes, and half of those issues are new in R31.

I am running on Windows and have spent the last hour or so just attempting to leave the Overland Map and enter any town / scene without crashing. Would love to actually be able to get anywhere except the overland. :) So my experience today has also been not so stellar.

I really don't like coming down on a game that's in development, but I feel like this release is an utter failure. The improvements to Earth, Water, and Death magic is completely non-existent (they are actually less effective now). You decreased stun time in air, but have it doing more damage now. Focus is dropping at entirely too high of a rate. Taking away movement from the mouse is awful (I know this is being fixed, but why change it in the first place???). Camera shifting drastically on its own. Crashing is as bad as ever. Zooming in and out is less smooth. The game experience is far worse for me today than it was yesterday. I'll let you know I'm not the only one that feels this way. Today is one of the worst turns I have seen SotA take in a while. I don't understand how the game is getting worse with the more development that comes in these updates. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel and fix what is broken. Please!!! How this game will be ready for no more wipes as of July 28th, I do not know. Best of luck devs...

Thanks!!!!! That worked. After trying every 'technical' solution I could think of that did the trick. :) Go figure. thanks so much.

It's kind of how the game's been since we first stated taking our steps in it. Feels really dated... and worse, feels like the developers have never quite cracked what they want the game to be like/play like.

I'm disappointed and, in saying that, I know how you feel about, "coming down on a game that's in development" but honestly, after years (literally) of goodwill and turning the other cheek, I'm over it.

Putting aside how the characters look and move (for the record, terrible), stuff like combat should have been sorted out long ago. Development has lurched all over the place and it's hard to have any faith in the builds.

Will I persist? Yes, because I've come this far. I'm just at a point where I can't sit back and say nothing or, even worse, applaud and say how interesting or good something is when basically anyone with eyes can see it's not.

Same here. Running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS still. How I sorta fixed it, press the tab key to grab the camera. It seems to work better. When I needed to regain my mouse again, I press tab to release. Odd way to fix this. Right mouse button for mouse look definitely not working right now.
