Hello Avatars!

My name is Elaina Strongbow and I'm an original founder / kickstarter of the game. Since this past February I've started to make tutorial videos for Shroud of the Avatar and publishing them on YouTube. You can also find me streaming in the evenings during the week (CT Timezone) and at weird hours on the weekend. You can find more about me and these videos at:

Quick question! I'm looking to play on a laptop but I can't figure out how to bind keys to look around so I don't have to use the touchpad to look. Preferably I'd like to use the arrow keys. Is this possible?

Its pretty awkward to use the touchpad to rotate view. Thank you!

 

I'm not sure that you can. I have a laptop too and I cannot use the trackpad that way either, I have to have/bring a mouse with me when I'm out of my office.

Thank you for all the wonderful tutorials. I have a question...My husband and I have just joined SoTA and for the life of me I can't find the group looting options. We are stuck on FFA and take turns looting. Also, I thought that once you've purchased the game you have the option of creating more than one character. Only the options are: 1/your current character name 2/Resume 3/World Map. Am I missing something?

 

open the social window (f). change to the party tab. loot options are in the lower left.

 

Exactly what @Alley Oop said on the loot.

As far as "multiple" characters. That was turned on at Release but it was a perk for Kickstarter Backers of a certain amount or higher. If you just bought the game it wouldn't be there. I believe, don't quote me, that they will make this as a an add on. But listen, I'm putting out a video on this thing this weekend. I'll reply here with a link to it. I kind of don't like it and will explain why.
