    CTD with this message:

I have doubled my RAM from 16 GB to 32 GB a few months ago, could that irritate SotA?

    Greetings ConjurerDragon
It looks more like a bad stick of memory to me. There IS data at that location but it can not be read. I would try running only on the new memory and see if you get the same error.

I did completely remove the old 2 X 8 RAM sticks and replaced them wit the new ones when I did the change.

I did a search and MS recommends you do this. I am assuming you are using windows and not Linux. Sorry I can not offer the translated page.

I restarted, loaded and the game runs fine. So it´s no repeatable problem but happens only occasionally.

I try the options in your post WBP, thanks.

Your BIOS/EFI might offer diagnostics - see what options are available to you when you power on (you might have to hit ESC or another key to clear logos and such to see options that are typically like F1 for setup, F2 for something else .. etc). You also can try using memtest86 - https://www.memtest86.com/

Again a CTD. This time I exited Eastmarch through my own teleporter targetted at Castle Atos. During the loading screen a Unity popup came up with a red exclamation mark on it and CTD.
