New secret weapon vs. Pirates

    After fighting pirates and their ilk for a time and dying sevearl deaths in Tenebris Harbour I need more effective weaponry vs. pirates.

    From scratch I could think of two but there might be more fitting ones:

    1) Woodpecckers. As tamed pets. Should turn any pirate force relying on peg legs to a rout. Rapidfire disabling the wooden peglegs and crippling movement, balance and abilities in general of the attacked pirate.

    2) a new pet device - unlike the existing stuff that adds some and distracts some other something simple: a leather yard+a clock+an ambient ticking sound. Applied to a any crocodile no more than 10 levels below the pirate causes instant teeror in the buccaneers black heart and cause them to instantly flee out of any body of water and climb the next hill or retreat to their ship.

    How about a Standard you can stick in the ground that looks like a hangman's gallows? It gives you an area effect for extra damage.
