night vision

    if light works on the overland map why shouldn't other spells like night vision, or for that matter any other spell, like speed and str buffs? all or none i say, none might actually provide the torch with value ....

    Light is important for traveling at night, so I agree with nightvision, but most of the buffs don't offer much to overland. Also I don't believe they work out of combat so even speed\str buffs might not make sense.

    Casting Night Vision also destealths, which stinks.
