No way to break barrier in Malice

4. Details: In Malice I found THREE items
   
   Spoiler: Name of items

   Gem of Loving Compassion
   Gem of Loving Justice
   Gem of Loving Sacrifice
   and as I read in three note entries: 1972, 1973 and 1976 they should help to go through the Barrier.
   But how?
   Now I am infront of the Barrier and I can't enter.
   As I asked in this thread, there should be no problem to do.

5. Steps to Reproduce:Enter Malice, find the 3 items and try to break through the barrier.

Bug entered! Thank you for reporting. Alas, I do not know of any ETA for a fix, but we can keep our finger's crossed....

In this moment I understand why man had the idea of a cross-bow: like crossed fingers it is stronger ...
so at last we will be successful

 

This bit worked for me last night, though I didn't get the XP reward as discussed in the other thread. One thing that may be worth a try: I picked up all three notes and had them in my inventory as well as the gems.

Maybe your conversation with Sammeal isn't completely resolved? Just throwing out ideas.

 

Well, I will try again - but have no idea. I tried all keywords. May be with R37 tomorrow it will work

 

I started the quest from Ardoris again over Necropolis to the ruins of Midgard, further to Spite and now Malice again. Same thing: The Barrier won't vanish.

BUT: Suddenly the conversation with Samael changed in a curious way:
1st time I entered he was thankful to me, that I helped him to let M. go.
After the new release 37:
2nd time I met the undertaker (the first time!) infront of the entrance and received the key.
Now I received a lot information about the reason, what he is doing in Malice and who is the ghost. After clicking and trying all words - I can't get him to let her go and I don't know how?

I think and hope the solution is to bring him on the right path to let M. go. But how?
Have it to be done before meeting Anapa or after?

May it be the wrong "choice" I did?
@Fistermage did it without the disguise of Agathon, instead he took the way with the necromancer Thetis, who trapped the souls within a soulgem.

May it be that the quest works only on the second choice with Thetis?

I will watch this thread... 5th time I'm trying to get past barrier since R35... I have 3 gems and pages 1972 through 1976 but can't get barrier down. I have new dialogue, but can't get anything to happen.

 

Alot of my friends delete all the gems, re enter and get them again and it works. Good luck guys

 

That worked... quest line completed.

 

A long breath later

It was necessary to destroy the gems AND the notes - in my case.

The dialouge with Sequanna/Samael/Muriel is a little confusing.
Not all words are underlined (may be this is on purpose).

First time it didn't work. I clicked all the words given by Sequanna. As I said "Farewell" she told me to ask about my destiny ...
