[Not a bug] Jar of Yeast Culture Issue!

Title: Jar of Yeast Culture Issue!

Details: In cooking, under the "Jar of Yeast Culture" Why do we need a Jar of yeast culture to make it? Seems like a mistake somewhere, vendor sells it and not sure what the difference is if any to the crafted one!
Steps to Reproduce: Look at Jar of Yeast Culture : Ingredients (Empty Glass Jar, Jar of Yeast Culture, Sack of Flour, Cooking Pot)

but that IS how you make more of a live culture of anything, in the real world. works with yoghurt, too. heck, people pass sourdough starter down through generations of family, always growing more and using only some to bake with rather than going out and buying a fresh batch.

 

Thank you for reporting, but this is working as intended. The yield you get in return is 2 jars of yeast culture... so you gain a jar on each combine. And yes, @Alley Oop is correct, it takes yeast culture to make more yeast culture in real life.

 

Good to know, just confusing to someone that doesn't use yeast in real life! Might want to make it more obvious to those of us that are Yeast Illiterate! Also I didn't see where the yield is mentioned on the recipe!

 

Yea, it would be nice if the yield was noted as part of the recipe. Sounds like a good post for feedback forums.
