Not crazy about crafting mechanics

That would be good. Maybe something along the lines of if I put 20 logs on the table and click craft it gives me the option to turn all 20 of them into boards or it shows me an option of an unknown recipe that requires 20 logs, color coded based on my chance of successfully producing the new recipe. If it's too hard I may go ahead and do my boards but make note of the fact that 20 logs is something to try again later. If there is no recipe that takes that exact combination then it just automatically turns my 20 logs into boards. I don't think the ability to mass produce should extend past base resources and should probably be limited to the refining skills. So I can mass produce ingots or logs, but not swords and leather helms.
