Dawn's Keep has moved slightly, @Birko. It's now just north of the road on the west side of the Eylo River east of Trader's Hill.

The new POT of Green Acres is just south east of Serenity's Edge

Aerie is near Little Italy by the boot/ship.

 

Very nice. Minor correction though. Rats Nest has no apostrophe. It's not owned by a Rat. It's the name of a town (place) so it gets no apostrophe.

 

I would say that Little Italy is near Aerie, ;-), but I was just pointing out that it seems to be missing from the list on the left side.

Speaking of which, I think that "Little Italy" is now known as "Italian militum".

 

Hm, so based on this map... and the Passes/Control Points, do we know for certain the different/intended economic regions?
Love/Ardoris in the SE is kind of isolated by Brightbone Pass and Eastreach Gap, from the rest of Novia.
Hidden Vale would seem to be another economic region? But boats go there from Ardoris, so no control point access.
Resolute/Courage doesn't seem to be restricted by any passes, as you can walk around Nightshade pass trivially. (I have walked from Resolute to Brittany in R26, without going through Nightshade Pass)
Aerie/Truth seems to be limited mostly by water in the SW, but the boat to Etceter permits travel up to Britanny without the need to pass a control point.

So... upon examination, currently, it seems like maybe there's just two economic regions? Ardoris + Hidden Vale versus everything else?
Or am I missing something?

 

I think you're missing the fact that we're still in development, and thus the Control Point of Superstition Canyon is still not ingame.

Once the canyon will be in, the entire South Paladis (= Resolute and its neighborhood) will be isolated by CPs from the rest of the map: from west, clockwise, Vertas Pass, Superstition, Sanctus, Nightshade.

That'd be the third region.

Also, with the same observation that there are still six months worth of CPs to be added, the Vaughban Mountains should receive their CP too, and isolate Drachvald into the fourth region.

The rest is basically a ring around South Paladis, and, as far as I know, has no further CPs.

 

So where is Superstition canyon supposed to be? Are you saying you won't be able to walk from Aerie north, cross the blood river to the mainland? or that there will be something in Verdantis that blocks access?

As far as the NE corner, doesn't that make Drachvald at least half as small as the rest?

Yup, Drachvald seems a bit smaller. But having one of the best mines around, and one of the end-game dungeons, I guess it wouldn't be exactly devoid of any activity/resource.

 

Wow, that makes the Resolute area positively tiny, if there's a control point in superstition canyon.. ay yi yi. It's even smaller than Drachvald.

Yeah, this doesn't make sense. If the intent is to isolate each T/L/C region, why do the areas in between exist, then?
