npcs need 2-3 different attacks to surprise an opponent

    in this vid you see that the mobs can do sometimes 4 different attacks .

    sometimes the mobs

    - swing there sword 3 times sometimes 4 times
    - sometimes mobs do a jump attack
    -sometimes they delay swings
    -and sometimes they swing very fast for some hits (rage mode)

    somehow im a fan how they did the npcs in this game.

    is such a combat possible in an mmo aswell ?? that mobs have 3 different attacks ??? really make pve fun in this game.

    im also a fan of the rolling dodges you can do to prevent damage something which could fit in this game aswell when you wear light lether armor .

    so that there are 2 styles of gameplay for a melee fighter

    - light armor with allow jumping and roll back and sideroll moves to prevent damage but you are ultra squishy

    - and havy armor guy with shield who is tanky as hell but you have to block correctly to get a fast counter hit and to prevent as much damage as possible when you are facing multiple opponents


    at the moment lether armors not create another gamestyle , just have different defence values and take a little bit less stamina .

    every armor should allow your worrior to do different kind of moves and should be balanced to each other.


    would this be possible in an mmo ???

    i rather have only 10 different mobs ,when it is fun to fight them, instead of 100 different who all do the same and you can facetank them
