Obsidian Chips. Best Grinding Spot?

    I moved my mouse all around the Forge... at least that pedestal in the center and even the floating shard above it.

    Not once did it turn green as "Something you can Activate".

    The forge is actually designed as a group activity, you will need a group to protect you while you craft the armor /weapons. I can give you a breakdown of the recipes if you like?

    There is actually a delay of a few seconds. You stand on it to activate and then a few seconds later the middle bit will be clickable.

    When I went to the forge, there wasn't actually anyone attacking me, once I was past the elementals anyhow, but I didnt' start making anything, so perhaps thats why. Now I'm interested in if that was a bug or not

    If you were doing the quest for the lenses there is actually a different instance for it (easy mode) so that you can complete the quest line without needing a group.

    This is why you need friends to keep them off of you while you work the forge.
