Okay, I'm staring at a copper hilt and a copper blade...

I have a copper hilt and a copper two-handed blade. They don't seem to want to go together. I'm in Resolute. What am I missing? I don't see a final copper two-handed sword recipe in my book. What do I do? Thanks!

Level 50... Two-Handed Sword... did I just real that correctly?

 

I've only salvaged the weapons that I have found (at the Blacksmith crafting station) and it has raised my Blacksmithing level to 40. I'm gathering ores and will start crafting items later. My point is that it goes fairly fast.

Ah, okay... that's not terrible. I just have to mass salvage a bunch of crappy swords and I'll be there in no time!

Metal Two-handed Blade
Metal Hilt.
5 coal.
Blacksmithing hammer equiped,
50 Blacksmithing skill.

Also you might be better off making a bronze hit instead of cooper hilt. it only cost you 2 cooper ingots and 2 tin ore more than your already paying, but the final product will have +12% crit instead of +10%.
