On Best Video game freezes

Title:Freeze 4 times in less than a minute
Reproduction Rate:100%
Blocker?No if you run at Fastest video
Details: I have now froze 4 times in the first 10 minutes of playing build 453 (was no where near this bad on 451 or 452. I am setting my video from Good to Fastest to see if that clears up the freeze.
Steps to Reproduce:Use a Mac and try to play the game at Best higher video. see that it freezes
User Specs:
OS: Mac OS X 10.11.6
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4771 CPU @ 3.50GHz (8) System RAM: 32768
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M OpenGL Engine GPU RAM: 1024

I went back to Fastest and it HELPed but I still froze when crafting in Soltown (single player as I remember)

 

Thank you for reporting. We are still investigating this issue for an internal reproduction case.

If you simply stand in the scene without doing anything, it still crashes for you?

 

Yes it will freeze when I am thinking to my self what do I want to do next. I have had it freeze with I was crafting or just moving in a Story Line town (in general I don't go into non story-line towns and have not needed to enter POTs often yet, will do that once things are built out a bit more).

Would it help if when I restart (after forced kill) to record a bug copy/paste. and added it here?

 

Hi Phil,

Noticed that you are using a Mobile GPU, is there any option in OSX under the nvidia control panel to use the "power management mode " and set it to Optimal. Or check if your laptop is plugged in?
